Nature and relax in a country house

 

Telva Alta is a splendid country house with a tennis court.

It is the ideal place for a holiday in nature and quiet but it is also a stone's throw from Feltre, a town rich in history, and close to the Dolomites, a Unesco heritage site.
The original nucleus of the house dates back to the 1600s and stands on a pre-existing Roman watchtower.
Part of the house, the old barn, has become a bright open space respecting the materials and the original structure; wood and stone dominate the environment.

The large living area features a fully equipped open kitchen and large windows overlooking the greenery.
The sleeping area is intimate and welcoming with wooden ceilings and custom-made furniture: it includes a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower.
Two comfortable sofa beds allow you to accommodate two more people.
The property includes a beautiful garden with games for children and a large porch ideal for meals and relaxation on summer days.

At guests' disposal also a splendid tennis court, complete with rackets and balls.
Starting from home, on foot or by mountain bike, it is possible to explore the surrounding area owned by the Dimora.

Where we are

Telva Alta is located in a splendid panoramic position surrounded by nature.

A few minutes by car is Feltre: visit the ancient citadel with via Mezzaterra and Piazza Maggiore, the Diocesan museum and the Wrought Iron museum.
Between one visit and another, enjoy a stop in the typical taverns in the center to taste platters of cold cuts and cheeses with excellent wines.

A few kilometers away there are other interesting towns such as Mel, Belluno, Bassano, Asolo and the Prosecco hills.
Venice and Cortina d’Ampezzo are a little further away.

We are close to the trails to explore and the wonderful ski slopes of the Dolomites. Telva Alta is easy to reach and has a large parking area. Feltre is only 5 minutes away by car.

I spent a wonderful week in Telva Alta with my wife and son. A magnificent place, a welcoming earthly paradise. The apartment is large, comfortable and equipped with all amenities. It is possible to have lunch outside under a covered porch with a splendid view over endless meadows. Federica welcomed us warmly and very cordially and she also helped us organize a visit to a local prosecco producer.

The place is fantastic for those looking for peace and quiet and the tennis court at full disposal is certainly a surplus.
Federica welcomed us warmly and was very hospitable, so much so that she organized a pleasant "shot" one evening.
I highly recommend this house!

There are places that one would like to keep a secret for themselves and Telva Alta is one of them. Above the town of Feltre, inserted in a wonderful environment, is this old farmhouse renovated according to the highest architectural standards with great taste. Near the house there is the tennis court with a view of the surrounding mountains, certainly one of the most beautiful courts that can be found.
It is a place "off the beaten path" but close to Feltre, the Belluno Dolomites, the Prosecco vineyards.
An extraordinary place for any season!
